Below is an extract from the daily Argus Biofuels report. Find out price assesments and details of trading activity in Europe, Asia and the US. The daily report also includes in-depth commentary on the biodiesel market.
Prices dip with mineral oil
The biofuels market continues to suffer from illiquidity
but prices were coming under pressure late in the day after mineral oil prices lost further ground after US stock data was released.
The prompt FAME 0 market was certainly still under pressure
but dates slightly further forward into very late November or early December were talked at and around $750-760/t fob Ara for any feedstock.
There was some trade heard for PME at $740/t delivered into Spain although the fob market was hushed.
RME was talked either at a $500/t premium to gasoil for November positions or €930/t towards the close of the day on the offer side although bids were some distance away.
There was some specific interest for FAME -26 into Scandinavia
at €910/t.
